On the hunt for the best farm dog in the South West

Have you got the Westcountry’s most loyal farm dog? South West insurance company Cornish Mutual and the Western Morning News have teamed up this November to find the region’s best farm dogs.

A faithful hound is often a vital member of the family for those living and working on a farm, and their dutiful nature regularly leads to happy partnerships with their owners of many years standing.

South West insurers Cornish Mutual is celebrating the hard-working hounds on our region’s farms, and asking people to send in the very best pictures of their dependable farm dogs, showcasing just how crucial these much-loved mutts are to the Westcountry’s infamous industry.

The winner will have their dog’s image captured on canvas by renowned Cornish animal portrait painter, Emma Richardson.

To enter the competition, simply share a favourite snap of your farm dog on social media using the hashtag #myfarmdog, or email photos to myfarmdog@cornishmutual.co.uk.

Judges from both organisations will choose the winning dog after the closing deadline of October 31st, 2015.
