PAVA subsidiary certifies production of crispy dry biscuits

Zauralsky Kreker, daughter company of a major Russian grain processor PAVA, plans to launch production of crispy dry biscuits. In March 2009, the company located in the Kurgan region obtained a certificate of conformance for the new product.

New line of biscuits includes seven distinctive flavours, with delicious aromas of cheese, bacon, onion and garlic. Part of the range will be made from traditional recipes, and some varieties will suit dietary nutrition standards. Biscuits under the name "Fitness +" contains bran which makes them ideal for weight-conscious consumers. Remarkably, four varieties are designed for diabetic friendly ration and will be made using fructose instead of sugar.

The typical range of products produced by PAVA’s confectionery enterprise includes different sorts of crackers and sugar cookies. Flour for the production is made from prime-quality grain grown in Altay region, where profusion of sunlight and warmth contribute to harvesting gluten-rich crops.

It is planned to distribute dry biscuits in corrugated cardboard boxes if the packaging size is up to 8 kilos, or transparent and coloured film if the weight does not exceed 1 kilo.
