The Precision Farming Event on Wednesday 5th March saw its biggest event yet; with visitor numbers up over 30% on the previous year and a rise in the number of companies exhibiting. The success of this year's event reflects the increasing adoption of precision farming technology.
"This equipment is now moving into the mainstream and more and more farmers are reaping the benefits of Precision Farming for guidance and automatic steering, record keeping and mapping," commented Andrew Newbold, event organiser.
The Precision Farming Event is the only event that brings together the latest precision farming technology to boost farm incomes and gives visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand the benefits on offer.
A packed seminar programme gave a further insight into the adoption of precision farming technology on-farm and showcased some of the newest technology to the market.
