President to address Monmouthshire farmers

NFU Cymru President, Dai Davies, will be addressing a meeting of Monmouthshire NFU Cymru members at the Alice Springs Golf Club, Usk, at 7.30pm on Thursday, 22 November 2007.

Mr Davies will update members on the main issues affecting Welsh agriculture at present and in particular the latest on the Bluetongue situation; TB, commodity prices and the work of NFU Cymru. There will also be a question and answer session followed by discussion.

Owen Tamplin, NFU Cymru County Chairman for Monmouthshire, said, "We are very grateful to the President for agreeing to attend the meeting. I would encourage as many members as possible to make the most of this opportunity to meet with Mr Davies."
