Two students from Chipping Norton show there is still hope during difficult times.
Alexander Edwards (22) and Richard Demczak (25) show there is still room for success stories during these difficult financial times.
The two lads from the countryside town of Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds have set up a tailoring company, producing bespoke suits for individuals across the UK. Their company Aptus Suits is quickly becoming a firm favourite with shoot members, as they offer high quality Harris Tweed bespoke garments at prices as little as £400. After a slow first month Aptus Suits has grown at extraordinary rates during its first 6 months of trading and even had to put a temporary freeze on orders whilst the tailors caught up with the demand.
When asked why tailoring, Alex explained that "the idea came about whilst both at university. I have always loved clothing and the confidence a nice looking suits can give you, however I could never afford a tailored Tweed Jacket, so spent the best part of a year putting together a selection of the finest materials and a tailor with over 40 years experience, to see if it was possible to get great suits at reasonable prices. The result is Aptus Suits"
Alex and Richard hope to progress the company over the next 6 months and see if they can attend the country events to raise their profile. Their new website www.tailored-suits.co.uk is a good example of the sort of garments they can tailor.
