Argentine Rural and Stevedores Workers Association secretary general, Gerado Venagas, has warned that if the government fails to implement a plan or a policy, beef will cost 100 pesos a kilo (US$33) referring to the four month long farmers dispute.
Venagas went on to say, that the rural sector accounts for 33% of the nations employment and 65% of the economy earnings.
Meanwhile farmers associations held a rally in the province of Entre Rios, which was demanding action from the government, in regard to subsidies and export taxes.
