A group of 10 farmers from Sikkim visited Thailand recently to learn latest farming techniques which would enable them to enhance their farm produces in future.
The select group of farmers was introduced with the latest technology in floriculture and vegetable germination, the state Information and Public Relations department (IPR) said in a release.
The farmers, during their 14-day visit from November 2-14, were taken to horticulture research institutes, farms, orchards, farm lands in Kanchanaburi, Chantaburi, Chonburi and Chiangrai in that country.
