Sulky has marked its 70th anniversary by introducing a fertiliser spreader with a spread width up to 24 metres and a basic hopper capacity of 1500 litres at a recommended retail price of only £3695.
Targeted at the mixed farming sector, the special anniversary DPX70 has an above-average specification for this price, including stepless width adjustment from 12 to 24 metres by means of Sulky's patented DPX system and a heavy-duty frame designed for payloads up to 2.1 tonnes. Hopper capacity can be increased from 1500 to 2100 litres by adding an extension, and another option is Sulky's Tribord in-cab electric control system for headland spreading.
Other standard features include clevis tractor hitch, hopper windows for easy viewing of fertiliser level, and full road lighting. Filling is particularly easy thanks to a hopper width of 2.4 metres and a filling height of only 1.04 metres.
The new spreader is available from Rustons Engineering, Sulky's UK distributor based at Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
