Sprayer has the latest features
The Knight 1830 self-propelled sprayer shown by the company at Cereals 2008 last week had two new features not seen on this model before.
Previous models only allowed for wheels with a rolling circumference up to 4000mm, but Knight is now offering an alternative with an extended suspension leg that allows wheels up to 4500mm circumference to be fitted.
Knight has also improved filling, washing and rinsing procedures on the 1830 model by integrating them fully into the Müller Elektronik control system and displaying them on the screen in the cab, simplifying the job for the operator.
The machine at the show had a 24-metre boom, 3500-litre main tank and the MAXImizer system that provides fast, efficient agitation and rinsing of the entire plumbing system. Vehicle features included a 175hp six-cylinder engine, hydrostatic transmission, adjustable track width from 68in. to 80in. and independent air-bag suspension with automatic levelling adjustment.
