Trident announces two Sheep Fair dates for 2006

Trident has announced that it will be holding two Sheep Fairs in 2006 – the traditional show in the north will be supplemented with an extra event in the south of the country.

The 5th Trident Northern Sheep Fair will take place on Tuesday 24th January 2006 at CCM Auctions’ Skipton Mart. The first ever Trident Southern Sheep Fair will take place on Wednesday 1st February at the Matford Centre in Exeter. Each event will include trade and breed society stands.

“Following the huge success of the last four years’ events, which have all been held in the north, Trident has decided to offer producers in the south of the country an opportunity to attend what has become an accepted industry event – without having to travel for hours,” states Trident’s George Perrott. “We are expecting both the 2006 events to be well attended.”

Both events will be supported by the NSA and EBLEX. Visitors will be able to see practical demonstrations and a number of industry-leading speakers.
