Mole Valley Farmers, the UK's largest farming cooperative, has launched a brand new online shop allowing customers all over the UK to take advantage of great prices on over 10,000 quality products at the click of a mouse!
47 years ago a group of farmers from around South Molton started the co-operative Mole Valley Farmers. Working on low margins to offer the best prices to their customer, nearly five decades later Mole Valley Farmers is still farmer owned, with a Board of Directors who are active farmers. Now Mole Valley Farmers has launched their new online shop to provide members and customers with the convenient option of purchasing online. The user-friendly layout enables customers to purchase products at the click of a button, anytime, anywhere.
Dairy Farmer Rodney Down, Farmers Weekly Young Farmer of the Year 2005, who farms 500 acres with his wife Claire at Wrantage, near Taunton said,
"This is a great move from Mole Valley Farmers providing hassle free farm input sourcing. The option to buy such a wide range of products online brings extra convenience to busy farmers who may not have time to a visit a store. This is definitely a new service I will be taking advantage of."

The new online MVF shop has over 10,000 products available, from dairy equipment and electric fencing to animal husbandry products, clothing and footwear, pet and equine goods, garden, vehicle, workshop tools and domestic products.
With two delivery options goods can be brought straight to the farm on a next day Express delivery, or within 3 – 5 working days with the Standard delivery. A spend of over £150 qualifies for free standard delivery (excludes heavy or hazardous products). The MVF online shop delivers to the whole of the UK, including the Highlands, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man (Channel Isles excluded).
Mole Valley Farmers' online customers can benefit from the latest farming news and market prices from the new website and soon will be able to access a 7 day weather forecast for their area.
Following registration on the website MVF members can book orders to their account, secure a 2% discount for purchases made by card and have the option to pay their account balance online. The facility to look up previous transactions will also become an option shortly.
Stephen Ford, Head of Retail Product Management and Marketing for Mole Valley Farmers says,
"We recognise that farmers don't always have time to come into one of our branches and some live in areas where there isn't a MVF branch nearby, so an online purchasing site enables farmers to have a their own virtual shop on their farm."
