BAN ON IMPORTS.
The government of Ukraine, is going to clamp down on meat imports by placing an additional customs duty on meat.
There is a rife trade in smuggled meat, from Georgia into the Ukraine and sub-standard meat from Poland.
There has been an increase in the imports of live cattle into the country, with full government support, in order to improve the nations beef industry.
