United Kingdom-Celebrity Chefs opinion of English pig farmers.

UNITED KINGDOM.

CELEBRITY CHEF AND RSPCA.

The Television chef Jamie Oliver, has joined forces with the RSPCA in a television documentary on the Channel Four to educate people in the ins and outs of pig farming.

Oliver has some knowledge of farming and the meat industry, as his name was linked last year to a meat company in Devon that got into financial difficulties.

The program is going to show the plight of some 160 million pigs across Europe, and allegedly has a sympathetic lean to the British farmers, as opposed to the usual "Boots an All" expose, in these types of television shows.

The program will also be looking into tail docking, castration of pigs, as well as labeling of meat according to the pre-review in the Guardian over the weekend.
