A law mandating country-of-origin labels be put on beef, pork and other meats sold in grocery stores is now being reviewed by Obama administration officials - the same as many other federal rules approve in the waning days of the Bush administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said Monday.
The meat labeling law was published in the U.S. federal register on Jan. 16 and is still scheduled for implementation on March 16, Vilsack said Monday.
