Wal-Mart are to open 90 new supermarkets in Brazil at the cost of US$1.1 billion.
The company is spending a further US$1.7 billion to open 36 new mega stores in the country as well.
Brazil is Wal-Marts fastest growing market the company said, when making the announcement last month.
