SURGE IN MEAT PRICES.

The government of Vietnam are expecting a surge in prices of 40%, on pork and chicken as the country prepares for the Lunar New Year later in the month.

The Information Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (AGROINFO), said that prices will increase because of the current short supplies.

The demand for beef pork and chicken, has increased this in the last year as the economy of Vietnam has improved at such an amazing pace.

Vietnam has a vibrant tourist industry and energetic industrial sector, in the manufacturing of computer components.


The government of Vietnam is offering large incentives to small farmers, to encourage them to produce more rice, wheat and meat.
