World's first blue stilton drink

Forget cappuccinos, alcopops, & fancy cocktails, the latest drinks craze is the Blue Stilton milkshake!

Brighton based smoothie and milkshake specialists, Moo Juce, developed the milkshakes after experimenting with new tastes and flavours to create a drink that is unique and bizarre yet surprisingly delicious.

With 'food on the go' being a major aspect of modern lifestyles, it's no surprise to see why smoothies and milkshakes have become so popular with specialist bars springing up in every UK town & city and supermarkets sales soaring.

As the industry grows, it was only a matter of time before more exotic foods were thrown into the blender and that's exactly what Moo Juce has done by creating the world's very first Blue Stilton based Smooth-Shake.

Secretary of the SCMA, Nigel White comments, "Through listening to our customers and accommodating modern consumer trends such as the smoothie, we're strengthening Stilton's position as the King of English cheese.

"Creating the Stilton smoothie, or smooth-shake as we like to call it, was no easy task. But through vigorous blending and sampling, Moo juce were able to create not only one but four recipes that have been instant hits."

NUTTY BLUE

Sending Stilton completely nuts as this bizarre combination sees the blue veins of Stilton blended with peanut butter spread and milk to create a drink that is completely off the hook - yet surprisingly delicious.

HOT & BLUE

Stilton and Jamaican ginger cake may not be the most obvious of flavours but incorporating the king of cheese with this fiery spice creates a smoothie that is sweet, creamy and hot.

CHOC 'N CHEESE

As misplaced as chalk & cheese, the sweetness of the chocolate mixed with the kick of Stilton actually complement each other in a fusion of two dairy based products.

S&M

Traditionally eaten with fruit, the cheekily named S&M sees Stilton consumed in a contemporary smoothie mixed with the tropical juices of Mango. And it's also a drink full of goodness with the strength of calcium mixed with one of your five a day.

After great success on a regional level, Stilton and Moo Juce are now searching for a national supplier to trial the recipes with the potential to distribute throughout the UK.
