Property Description :

Owner: Colin And Cynthia Fletcher

We have four mobile holiday homes pleasantly situated in the farm orchard among fruit trees and mature gardens and I hope you will agree this is borne out by the photographs.

The orchard is in a quiet setting about 300 yards from the public road. The Kennet & Avon canal passes nearby and we are situated at the foot of the famous flight of twenty-nine locks. The towpath at the side of the locks makes a pleasant and varied walk to Devizes and has been resurfaced suitable for cycling between Devizes and Bath. The fishing in the canal is very good, and the canal is well stocked with carp especially. We can provide Devizes Angling Association fishing licenses if required.

New Lilac is a 35ft by 12ft Brookwood Contessa new in March 2003 having full central heating and an open plan concept with the large lounge adjoining the central kitchen diner. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are situated beyond the dining area. The main bedroom has a double bed with a toilet adjoining. The second bathroom has twin beds and a full bathroom with enclosed shower cubicle is nearby

Chestnut a Brookwood Lodge new in March 2001, also has full central heating; and being 36ft long by 12ft wide offers a spacious main bedroom and a large central lounge. The main bedroom with adjoining bathroom is situated at one end, while two bedrooms with twin beds are located at the far end; with a second toilet nearby.

New Willow is 12ft wide and a top of the range 2004 Bluebird Caprice. A large lounge, furnished to a high standard with luxurious furniture, is situated at the front of the mobile home with views through the gable end to the chestnut tree and fields beyond. The dining area and central kitchen fitted with an 800ml wide cooking range and warming cupboard, also has an integral fridge/freezer and an electric re-circulating cooker hood. The spacious master bedroom with ensuite toilet extends across the full width of the mobile home at the far end. Westbury White Horse
Westbury White Horse

This horse is located on the steep western slope of westbury Hill, below the Iron Age hill-fort of Bratton Camp. The first Westbury white horse is believed to have been cut to commemorate the victory over the Danes in the Battle of Ethandun (possibly nearby Edington) in 878AD. Local legend says that King Alfred commissioned the cutting of the horse, but had the designer beheaded soon after completion as the horse was said to be riding out of town, and should have been riding into town.
