Shortwood is an organic dairy farm and has belonged to the Legge family since 1903. It is set in the beautiful county of Herefordshire and, due to its elevated setting, has spectacular views into neighbouring Wales, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
We offer experience days perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about farming - whether you’re thinking of beginning your own small holding or simply looking for a great day out in the glorious Herefordshire countryside, or just because you love animals!
You’ll get the chance to join in with the day-to-day running of our farm - feeding the animals, milking the cows, collecting the eggs, driving a tractor (full driving license needed) and generally getting stuck in!
A delicious lunch in our farmhouse kitchen is included.
