The British Free Range Egg Producers Association (BFREPA) has paid a gleaming tribute to leading egg producer, LJ Fairburn & Son Ltd, awarding them ‘Food Business of the Year’. The Lincolnshire based family team picked up the esteemed industry accolade at the BFREPA Conference held at The National Motorcycle Museum in Birckenhill, Solihull on Wednesday 25th November.
The awards seek to highlight those who have positively affected the free range egg sector during the past 12 months and are committed to shaping a fruitful future for the industry. Competing against fellow producers, the Food Business of the Year Award is the ultimate confirmation that a business is a leading figure within the egg laying sector.
The award celebrates innovative techniques, farming methods, marketing initiatives, welfare and sustainability methods. The annual BFREPA conference provides producers the ideal opportunity to meet other producers as well as listen to some of the biggest names in free range address the conference on the latest topical issues.
