A video has been shared more than a thousand times on social media which shows a small group of young farmers displaying antisocial behaviour during the NFYFC Annual Convention in Blackpool.
The viral video has led the Chairman of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (NFYFC), Lynsey Martin make a public apology on Facebook.
The video was filmed during the NFYFC Annual Convention, which took place in Blackpool over the bank holiday weekend (4-6 May).
It shows a small number of YFC members holding up traffic on a busy high street road, kicking cars and displaying antisocial behaviour.
In a Facebook post denouncing their actions, Ms Martin said she is "really sad, disappointed and ashamed" of the video.
"The people featured in this video are not the YFC members I wish to represent," she said.
"Members of this Federation work hard to support local communities – not attack them. The members I know fundraise for local charities – raising in excess of £50,000 on their way to Blackpool for example, and over the year more than £1.2m.
"The people intimidating members of the public in this video are not representative of members of The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs and should not be allowed to wear our YFC logo."
Ms Martin said the membership of the YFC members in the video will be removed, if identified.
She added: "On behalf of the Federation, I apologise that some people who came to Blackpool this weekend because of our Convention have chosen to behave so appallingly."
More than 6,000 young farmers descended upon Blackpool over the weekend during the Annual Convention.
