Blackwells Farm Produce & Farm Shop

The Blackwell family has been farming in the Coggeshall area for four generations.

My Grandfather and Father both farmed at Herons Farm and I have continued this tradition over the last 30 years.

With our farm shop we are committed to supporting local suppliers and over 90% of the produce we market is sourced within a 20-mile radius of the farm. We source our meat from local farmers known and trusted by ourselves for their good husbandry skills.

For many years we have concentrated on traditional farm fresh geese and turkeys for the Christmas market.

In 2004 we set up the Rare Breed Meat Company to service leading butchers and food halls who directly seek high quality locally produced meat for which we could provide full provenance back to the source.
