Based 14 miles outside of Nottingham, Brackenhurst is a dedicated 200-hectare farm and woodland estate, which provides the perfect outdoor classroom.

Our facilities include an impressive animal unit housing over 200 animals, an Equestrian Centre including international size indoor and outdoor riding arenas and a suite of state-of-the-art glasshouses and polytunnels. We also have four unique laboratories dedicated to analysis and research.

Having offered specialist courses within the land-based industry for more than 50 years, our tutors have lots of expert experience. Our courses are hands-on, give you loads of practical experience and have great links with employers and support with progression on to our degree courses.

As one of Nottingham Trent University’s four campuses, Brackenhurst also offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in animal, equine and environmental sciences.
