Horse of the Year Show

Welcome to Horse of the Year Show, the finale to the showing year and the climax to the domestic show jumping year.

The Show has been running since 1949 making it one of the longest standing horse shows in history; a spectacle in the equestrian calendar not to be missed.

The event is widely regarded as the pinnacle of achievement in the equestrian world - an event to which all owners and riders aspire.

Horse of the Year Show celebrates the end of the competitive season by crowning the Champions of the most prestigious National Showing Championships.

Most HOYS competitors will have qualified and stood champions at major county shows, so it’s little wonder that Horse of the Year Show has become known as the "Show of Champions".
