Gilsland Show

The Gilsland Agricultural Show celebrates all aspects of farming and rural life.

The Gilsland show brings villages and countryside together for a showcase of for rural pursuits, livestock, farming and the countryside.

It offers the perfect day out for the entire family.

The main Agricultural Show has classes for sheep, dogs, forage, industrial (children’s, horticulture and produce, baking, knitting, needlework and crafts, photography, walking sticks etc.), pony sports, Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling and vintage vehicles.

Other events include Children’s Sports, Tug of War, Terrier Racing and Sheep Stock judging. There really is something for everyone, so make a date in your diary and come along for a great day out!
