Moorcock Show

The Moorcock Show is a traditional and historic agricultural show, recognized as one of the oldest and leading sheep shows in the Yorkshire Dales. Organized by the Moorcock Agricultural Society, it showcases local breeds such as Swaledale, Blue Faced Leicester, and Rough Fell sheep. Beyond the sheep competitions, the event offers a variety of attractions including vintage tractors, home produce and crafts, a walking stick carvery, and entertainment from the Hawes Town Band. It aims to provide a traditional Dales experience for all ages, with activities like a Young Handlers Competition and local food stalls.
