Shrewsbury Flower Show

The Shrewsbury Flower Show, historically one of the UK's premier horticultural events, is cancelled for 2026 due to ongoing challenges related to funding and rising costs, including increased security expenses. The event was also cancelled in 2025. Traditionally held at Quarry Lodge, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, it features spectacular floral displays, show gardens, expert demonstrations, live entertainment, music from military bands, arena acts, fireworks, and numerous craft and food stalls. Organised by the Shropshire Horticultural Society, it is one of the longest-running flower shows in the world. (Note: Dates are placeholders as the event is cancelled for 2026; traditionally it occurs in July/August/September).
