Agriculture Level 3 Full-time

At Level 3, you build on Level 2 with hands-on projects, including sheep showing at the Penistone Show and visiting dairy, beef, and pig farms.

Gain practical experience with farm vehicles, like tractor driving at our Wigfield Farm campus.

Mandatory topics for this one-year course:

Health, safety, security, and communication in the workplace

Monitor and maintain crop and livestock growth

Plan and use tractors and attachments

Optional topics:

Milking livestock

Brooding young birds

Equipment maintenance

Animal breeding
