Course overview
This two-year agriculture course focuses on developing the core skills you are required to have by employers in the agriculture industry, such as safe farm working practices, livestock husbandry, crop production and operating agricultural machinery as well as farming business skills. The course enables you to progress onto degree level courses in this or related subjects.
As part of the programme, learners will also study towards the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales qualification. You will also be required to complete an eight week work placement within your first year of study.
This course is a full-time level three course which is equivalent to A-level standard.
