Course overview
The Trent Valley Training Arable group meets 4 times a year between November and July to discuss topical issues for the time of year. We have morning and afternoon sessions with each one delivering the same content but at different venues. Local farmers are welcome to join the group.The talk and slide show is given by local agronomist Andrew Wells. All agronomy issues are covered including:
Seed varietiesWeed and pest control, both cultural and chemicalDisease/fungicideAny other matters / question & answer that people want to discuss.Prices of chemicals are discussedA hand-out is given for future reference at each meetingThe 4th meeting generally at the end of June or beginning of July is usually a farm visit.All are welcome to join this course but places are limited so early booking is advisable.Please view the calendar for meeting dates or contact us for more details
