ATVs, or quad bikes, are incredibly versatile machines that are used across various commercial and agricultural sectors. As well as this, their flexibility means they can be operated with various attachments, including trailers, sprayers and spreaders. Without the correct training, serious accidents can occur, which is why it is essential to gain accredited training.The course will cover:
Accident preventionWhat is an ATV?Daily/safety checksPossible issuesRisk assessments (including route planning)Instruments and controlsStarting and stopping the machineBasic manoeuvresAscend/descend/traverse safelyThe limitations of loaded ATVsAll candidates will complete the Assessment and on successful completion will be issued with an NPORS/Lantra Operators card.
