ATV Training

ATVs, or quad bikes, are incredibly versatile machines that are used across various commercial and agricultural sectors. As well as this, their flexibility means they can be operated with various attachments, including trailers, sprayers and spreaders. Without the correct training, serious accidents can occur, which is why it is essential to gain accredited training.

The course will cover:

Accident prevention

What is an ATV?

Daily/safety checks

Possible issues

Risk assessments (including route planning)

Instruments and controls

Starting and stopping the machine

Basic manoeuvres

Ascend/descend/traverse safely

The limitations of loaded ATVs

All candidates will complete the Assessment and on successful completion will be issued with an NPORS/Lantra Operators card.
