Basic Stockmanship and Welfare

This is an Independently Assessed qualification.

Type of Learner: If you work in the livestock industry, then this qualification will help you gain recognition of your skills.

Qualification Overview: It covers legislation, well being of stock, routine stockmanship duties, and an understanding of health and safety issues relating to yourself, other people and the environment when working with livestock.

What you need to do: Take a computer based test (e-volve) and a practical test with one to one verbal questioning.
