Course overview
If you are new to bee keeping or have always wanted to keep bees and have your own honey, then this is the course for you.
This course offers you the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, understanding and practical bee keeping skills to keep healthy and productive bees. The course is 36 hours and split into two halves, which include initial evening classes at the Cornwall College Camborne site, covering the theory of bee keeping and how to manage your hives. This is followed by practical sessions at Duchy College Rosewarne, where you will work with the bees in our very own West Cornwall Beekeepers Association outdoor apiary.
Your course tutor has a wealth of knowledge and experience giving you an excellent grounding for keeping bees.
