Brushcutter and Strimmer Training

D J Gemmill, Essex
Course overview
Any machine with a cutting head rotating at high speed, such as brushcutters and strimmers, are potentially very dangerous. Brushcutters (rigid, steel blades) and strimmers (nylon cord) are quick, effective and mobile tools for professionals and the public in general.

But because the general public can purchase them operators tend to underestimate the potential harm they can cause. Minimise these risks with a recognised brushcutter and strimmer training course from DJ Gemmill.

This 2-day course for novices, or 1-day course for experienced operators is a Lantra accredited integrated assessment. The Lantra Certificate of Competence is recognised by the HSE, however, if candidates wish to receive the NPTC Certificate of Competence this training will provide the skills to pass the NPTC assessment.
