Certificate of Competence in felling Small Trees up to 380mm

NPTC 0020-04 Felling & Processing Trees up to 380mm (CS31).

This course will prepare people for roles that will involve felling small trees safely and accurately, removing branches, crosscutting stems, stacking timber and taking down hung-up trees with hand tools.

You must be fit to undertake this training and be 19 years of age or over.

Felling courses are held off campus at a suitable felling site. This course is a pre-requisite to other chainsaw and arboriculture courses, such as:

Felling Trees over 380mm,

Aerial Cutting of Trees Using Free-Fall Techniques.

You will need to bring: All PPE and equipment necessary for the course. PPE & Equipment list will be sent by email after booking or on request.
