Certificate of Competence in Use of Chainsaw from a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)

Who is this qualification for?

Individuals who operate and carry out tasks in operations using a chainsaw from a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) as part of their work in arboriculture, forestry, or other industries. It will provide the individual with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to carry out this work.

What does this qualification cover?

It covers hazards, risks, controls, emergency procedures, industry guides, legislation, safe working loads, setting up and operating a mobile elevated work platform and using a chainsaw from a MEWP.

You must have a valid, Safe Use of a MEWP certification for the type of machine being used. Either Lantra or City&Guilds.
