Course overview
These are a range of practical Qualification covering all aspects of Chainsaw work. Level 2 maintenance of the chainsaw and cutting system and cross cutting timber are the mandatory qualifications that are pre-requisite to many of the Level 2 and 3 qualifications. Once the mandatory qualifications have been achieved, learners can take further qualifications to meet the needs of their chosen career pathway.It is a practical assessment. The Learner will be observed completing a series of tasks relevant to the qualification and the assessor will ask questions to check understanding. Integrated Assessment means that the assessment will be part of the training package. Independent Assessment means the learner will take the test on a separate occasion with an Independent Assessor who has not been involved with the training.
