Course overview
This LANTRA run training course aims to give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in the operation and maintenance of petrol driven chainsaws. It introduces trainees to the hazards and risks involved with operating a chainsaw and to comply with health and safety legislation. The length of training is two days which covers a mix of both theory, workshop and practical elements with a two and half hour City & Guilds NPTC assessment taken on a 3rd day, usually on the Monday or Tuesday of the following week. We provide LANTRA course materials & Certification followed by City & Guilds NPTC Qualification.We recommend refresher training be undertaken every 3-5 years.
