“This course changes how you see the land — and yourself as part of it. Once you start thinking holistically, you’ll never look at soil, grazing, people, or profit in isolation again.”

Course Overview
The Holistic Management Fundamentals course is your starting point on the journey toward regenerative practice.
Over eight weeks, you’ll learn a proven framework for making better decisions about land, animals, finances, and community — decisions that restore health to ecosystems and balance to your livelihood and farm business.
This course weaves the science of ecosystem processes with the art of practical land management. You’ll see how water, minerals, energy, and living communities interact — and how to manage them together for lasting results.
Relevant for:
Farmers, growers and land managers
Conservation professionals and ecologists
Advisors, NGOs, and policy teams
Anyone seeking to understand how land, people, and profit can thrive together
What You’ll Achieve
Regenerate soil and biodiversity.
Increase profitability and yield without costly inputs.
Build drought and flood resilience.
Reduce stress and improve quality of life.
Gain confidence to lead regenerative change.
What You’ll Learn
The Four Key Insights — nature functions in wholes and patterns; time, not numbers, governs overgrazing; predator–prey relationships matter; and the brittleness scale explains how land responds to your management.
The Ecosystem Processes — water cycle, mineral cycle, energy flow, and community dynamics, and how to monitor and manage them.
The Management Tools — how to select from amongst the tools of technology, fire, rest, and living organisms for best effect.
Holistic Decision-Making — how to define your whole under management, create your holistic context, and use the seven context-checking questions.
Practice and Application — plan, act, and monitor to stay on course and correct early.
How It Works
Join the live online class from anywhere via Zoom. You’ll meet weekly with a 3LM Accredited Educator and a supportive cohort of peers. All sessions are recorded so you can review lessons or catch up anytime. Between sessions, optional reading and short exercises help you apply what you’re learning to your own land or project.
