This course would suit you if you are interested in working in the farming industry and you are keen to learn Practical skills in the workplace while supported by regular visits by our qualified staffMandatory Units• Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the workplace• Communicate information within the workplace• Maintain and store records within the workplace• Prepare, monitor and maintain the healthy growth of crops• Identify, monitor and maintain the healthy growth of crops• Plan the preparation and use of tractors and attachments.Optional Units - These are chosen by your tutor and employer and can include• Monitor and maintain harvesting operations• Establish, monitor and maintain site hygiene and bio-securityYou'll need to build a portfolio of work, complete assignments and to pass a range of external assessments.Minimum age of 16 years
