An introductory course for beginners, teaching you how to build a wall from foundation to capping. You will dismantle old walls, select, prepare and lay stone.
Prerequisites

All attendees must be over the age of 16

  • Please note the following details:

    All tools and equipment can be provided, but if you have any of the following please bring them along: lump hammer, bolster, bricking and skutch hammers.
    Wear appropriate outdoor clothing (depending on weather conditions) including overalls, gloves, hats, sunscreen (if necessary) and protective footwear.
    Bring lunch and beverages.

    Course Assessment Method

    At the end of the course you will be awarded a University certificate of attendance.
