Course overview
This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to operate the machine to manufacturers’ instructions. You will be able to carry out inspections and operate the machine under varying site conditions. Furthermore, you will be able to identify any causes of instability and be able to position the dumper for loading from and dumping into excavations. The course covers:
Introduction to the construction industryCurrent relevant regulationsIntroduction to the machinePre-shift inspectionsCoolant, fuel and lubrication systemsDriving, loading and unloadingManoeuvring in confined areasAfter the assessment, you will be issued with a NPORS/Lantra card.
