• Understand legislation and safety guidelines pertaining to safe working in proximity to power lines
• Be able to identify electricity networks and their component parts
• Identify relevant safety zones and their inherent dangers
• Understand emergency procedures and how to implement them
• Definitions of the various safety documents
• Be able to ensure own and others’ safety when working in the proximity of power lines
