Course overview

In this course, candidates will learn the skills necessary to fell trees up to 200 mm [8”] in diameter safely and effectively. The course will involve a combination of theory and practical work and culminate with an assessment at the end of the second day.

A pre-requisite for joining this course is either the Lantra Chainsaw Maintenance & Crosscutting qualification or the Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting qualification.
