Course overview
There are a number of activities involved with the CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper technical test including;1. Complete all manufacturers’ pre-start and running checks and prepare the dumper for travel2. In a loaded and unloaded state;a. Travel up and down the slopeb. Stop and start on the slope in the up directionc. Stop and start on the slope in the down directiond. Pass through a chicane executing full right and left turns in a forward and reverse direction (unloaded only)e. Travel over rough terrainf. Reverse (loaded only) in a straight line for a minimum of 30 metres and pass through a restriction at the end of the run.3. Position the dumper for loading4. Receive a load5. Discharge the load into the edge of excavation6. Form a stockpile7. Clean out the skip fully8. Park the dumper and carry out shut down and securing proceduresWe can carryout the entire CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper qualification at our training centre in Lisburn.
