Course overview
The new Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Food Innovation and Technology is validated by Ulster University. The course has been redesigned to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to develop and produce innovative, nutritious and safe foods. The programme is delivered over two years, with semester 3 spent on an industry based work placement. During their placement students develop both their technical expertise and commercial awareness. Many graduates choose to progress on to the BSc (Hons) Degree at Loughry Campus. Those who enter employment take up posts in supervisory management within production, product development, training and quality control.
