The campus is home to several working farms and land-based engineering workshops, a fleet of new tractors and a full range of industry equipment and machinery, enabling you to develop real industry experience through hands-on learning. You will combine academic study with practical activities and routine duties to build your confidence, develop your knowledge and get set for a rewarding career in agriculture.What will I learn?On this course you’ll gain knowledge and skills in growing crops, working with livestock, driving tractors and using other agricultural machinery. The College’s farm enterprises include sheep, dairy, pigs, beef and arable cropping, and as an agriculture student you will be involved in them all. You’ll also have the opportunity to specialise and develop your skills throughout the course, tailoring your learning to your personal ambitions.What Could I Do Next?Having successfully completed this course you could progress on to further study such as the Level 3 Diploma in Agriculture or move into a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Agriculture.
