City and Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Application of Pelleted Granular Pesticides using Mounted or Trailed Applicators (PA4)Candidates will be taught how to use granular pesticides correctly using the appropriate application equipment. Operate and maintain equipment using safe within legislation Calibrate and settings applicator Clean equipment and dispose of unused pesticide safely Identify the need to use pesticidesIf you job involves applying pesticides in a commercial role you are legally required to take this qualification.Candidates will gain the above qualification having successfully completed an oral and practical assessment through their local City and Guilds NPTC assessment centre. All candidates should hold the PA1 qualification before undertaking this assessment and must arrange this themselves. Payment is made directly to the assessment centre and held on the candidates site/location.
