Course overview

For high-risk chainsaw work (PUWER ACOP 137), operators must hold a certificate of competence or a nationally recognised qualification with independent assessment. Our Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting meets these requirements. It includes two days of LANTRA training plus a half-day independent assessment.
