Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Pruning

Pruning trees can’t often be done from the ground.

This qualification covers the pruning of trees at height be it from a rope and harness or from a MEWP.

Our Assessors will assess you on a range of practical activities covering all aspects of tree pruning.

This qualification is nationally recognised and registered with Ofqual.

Upon completion you will gain a card and a nationally recognised certificate.

In order to undertake the Lantra Awards Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Pruning you must have achieved the following qualifications:

Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and the Level 2 Award in Cross-cut Timber Using a Chainsaw or, Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting and all of the following;

Level 2 Award in Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
Level 2 Award in Accessing a Tree Using a Rope and Harness
Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rescue Operations
Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques
