Pruning trees can’t often be done from the ground.This qualification covers the pruning of trees at height be it from a rope and harness or from a MEWP.Our Assessors will assess you on a range of practical activities covering all aspects of tree pruning.This qualification is nationally recognised and registered with Ofqual.Upon completion you will gain a card and a nationally recognised certificate.In order to undertake the Lantra Awards Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Pruning you must have achieved the following qualifications:Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and the Level 2 Award in Cross-cut Timber Using a Chainsaw or, Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting and all of the following;Level 2 Award in Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mmLevel 2 Award in Accessing a Tree Using a Rope and HarnessLevel 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rescue OperationsLevel 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques
